Swale Community Leisure have been working in partnership with the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust for 9 years. During this time, we have worked with a number of world class athletes to help over a 1,000 Young People who were not in Education, Employment or Training. Working together on a variety of programmes to support personal, social and emotional development; these Young People have improved their employability skills, metal wellbeing and physical activity levels.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, 8 programmes were delivered via Zoom, all over the country. Running these programmes was absolutely vital during such a difficult time. These programmes allowed them to continue to build their skills and confidence, whilst socialising with peers and engaging in activities and games.

Our latest programme worked alongside Claire Bennett, Former GB Fencer and Trey Whyte, Former GM BMX Rider and saw 20 Young People come through the programme.
