Every year dedicated individuals are going the extra mile to develop and deliver groups, clubs and initiatives to benefit their local
communities.
The Swale Community Leisure Vision Awards provides the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work and achievements in the Swale, Maidstone and Gravesham Communities.
The following categories will be recognised at the awards ceremony:

Culture/Community
Each category will have an award for Swale, Maidstone and Gravesham.

Category Criteria
SPORT
The Sport Award will be awarded to an individual, group, or organisation that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to sports in the local community. This could be due to their outstanding performances and dedication to achieving success, as well as their efforts to promote physical activity services and encourage participation among residents.
LEISURE
Recognising Excellence within the Swale Community Leisure Contracts.
The Leisure Award is a prestigious recognition for those working in leisure within our contracts. Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond in their role, made a positive impact on the local community, or been an exceptional team player? This award can be nominated by other staff members or our valued customers.
HEALTH
The Health Award honours those who have made significant contributions to improving the well-being of local residents. Our focus on physical activity and health is integrated into all our initiatives, whether at leisure centres, community locations, or through partnerships. Nominate an organisation, group, or individual for their exceptional efforts in making Swale, Maidstone and Gravesham healthier places.
EDUCATION
The Education Award acknowledges organisations, groups, or individuals who promote physical literacy and the significance of an active lifestyle, or who encourage lifelong learning of this essential life skill. Education plays a crucial role in delivering a holistic approach to enhance personal well-being, which can be measured as Social Impact Value.
CULTURE/COMMUNITY
Recognising Local Contributions: The Culture/Community Award honours individuals who have made a significant contribution to their local area by promoting inclusivity, improving the local environment, and expanding the reach of Sport, Leisure, Health, Education and Culture within the community.
THE TONY GRIBBLE AWARD
The Tony Gribble Award is named after SCL's previous chairman and trustee.
The award for overall outstanding achievement from among the winners of the above categories.
